Privacy Policy

Last updated: 28 July 2026

1. Who is responsible for your data

Click Design Ltd (Company No. 13679389, Peter House, Oxford Street, Manchester, M1 5AN, United Kingdom) is the data controller for personal data processed by ClickDesign Invoicing. Contact: mahmood@clickdesign.uk.

2. What we collect

Account data — your name, email address, password (stored as a secure hash) and company details you enter (address, VAT/CIS/company numbers, bank details shown on your invoices, logo).
Business records — the customers, quotes, invoices and payments you create in the Service. These may contain personal data about your customers, for which you are the controller and we act as your processor.
Billing data — your subscription plan and billing status. Card details are collected and held by Paddle, our payment provider — we never see or store card numbers.
Technical data — basic logs (IP address, timestamps) needed to run and secure the Service.

3. How we use it

To provide the Service (contract), to send the emails you trigger such as invoices and payment reminders (contract), to manage subscriptions (contract), to secure and improve the Service (legitimate interest), and to meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal data and we do not use your business records for advertising.

4. Who we share it with

Paddle.com — payment processing, as merchant of record.
Email delivery provider — to send the emails you request (e.g. invoices to your customers).
Hosting — our servers, located in the United Kingdom/EEA.
We share data with these providers only as needed to provide the Service, and with authorities where the law requires.

5. How long we keep it

For as long as your account is active. After account closure your data is available for export for 30 days and is then deleted, except where we must keep records longer for legal or accounting reasons.

6. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to or restrict processing, and request portability. The Service includes built-in export (PDF, CSV, JSON). To exercise any right, email mahmood@clickdesign.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

7. Cookies

The Service uses only essential cookies/storage needed to keep you signed in and secure. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

8. Changes

We will post any changes to this policy here and, for significant changes, notify you by email or in the app.
