Common questions
Is there a free version?
Yes. Your first five invoices are free for life, with unlimited quotes and customers. There's no card to start and no trial countdown — when you need a sixth invoice, Starter is £9.99 a month or £99 a year.
Does it handle CIS and reverse charge?
Both are built in. Set your CIS rate once and the deduction is worked out on labour lines automatically. Tick domestic reverse charge on an invoice and the VAT is zeroed with the wording HMRC requires printed on the PDF.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. There's an Android app and the website works on any phone browser, sharing the same account and data, so you can quote on the doorstep and invoice from the van. An iPhone app is on the way.
Do I need an accountant to set it up?
No. You enter your company details, VAT number and CIS rate once in Settings, and everything after that is filled in for you. Exports to CSV and JSON are there for when your accountant wants the figures.
