Everything it does
The complete list — and only things you can use today. Anything still being built is at the bottom, clearly marked, so you always know what you're actually paying for.
Quoting
Price the job properly, and keep track of what you're waiting to hear back on.
Line-by-line estimates
Every line has a description, quantity, unit, unit price and its own VAT rate, so a job can mix labour at one rate with materials at another.
Labour and materials marked separately
A labour flag on each line — the thing that lets CIS be worked out correctly later without you splitting the job by hand.
Discounts
A fixed discount off the net, applied before VAT is calculated and spread proportionally across the lines, so the VAT shown is the VAT you're charging.
Expiry dates
Set how long the price holds for. Prices don't stay open indefinitely by accident.
Status tracking
Draft, sent, accepted or declined — so you can see at a glance which jobs are still out for a decision.
Duplicate any quote
Turn a standard job into a reusable template. Copy it, adjust it, send it — the validity window is re-applied from today.
Invoicing
Create an invoice straight away, or convert a quote you've won.
Quote to invoice in one click
Customer, lines, VAT and totals carry across, a new invoice number is issued and the due date comes from your payment terms. The invoice stays linked to the quote.
Direct invoices
No quote needed. Create an invoice from scratch whenever the job doesn't warrant one.
Sequential numbering with your prefix
Unbroken numbering you control the format of. Numbers are never reused, even if a draft is deleted.
Duplicate for repeat work
Copy last month's invoice, change the dates, send. Payments and the paid status are left behind, and the totals are recalculated in case your rates have changed.
Part-payments and balances
Record payments as they arrive with date, method and reference. The balance updates and the invoice marks itself paid when nothing is outstanding.
Overdue at a glance
Anything past its due date with money still owing is flagged, so you know who to chase without going through a folder.
UK tax
The part most invoicing tools bolt on afterwards.
Per-line VAT
20%, 5% or 0% on each line independently, totalled correctly by rate rather than forced to a single figure across the job.
CIS deductions
Set your Construction Industry Scheme rate once — 20%, 30% or 0% for gross payment status — and it's applied to labour lines only, shown as its own line.
Domestic reverse charge
One tick zeroes the VAT and prints the statement HMRC requires, for construction services between VAT-registered businesses.
Your registration details
Company registration number, VAT number and registered address on every document, entered once in Settings.
Payment terms
A default number of days that sets the due date on every invoice, overridable per invoice when a customer has different terms.
Multi-currency
Twelve currencies for work beyond the UK, each formatted the way it's normally written.
Documents and design
What your customer actually receives.
Eight PDF designs
Classic, Modern, Bold, Minimal, Sidebar, Elegant, Compact and Corporate — pick the one that suits how you want the business to look.
Your logo and colour
Upload a logo once and choose an accent colour. Every quote and invoice uses them.
Preview before you commit
See any design rendered with sample data before applying it, so you're not experimenting on a real customer's invoice.
Paid stamp
Settled invoices carry a clear paid mark, so a copy sent later can't be mistaken for an outstanding one.
Nothing stored on our server
PDFs are generated in memory the moment you download them and are never written to disk. Only your logo is stored.
CSV and JSON export
Export everything, or a single invoice, whenever you like — including on the free plan. Your figures are never locked in.
Customers and account
The housekeeping, kept out of your way.
Customer records
Name, address, postcode, email and phone, reusable across every quote and invoice.
Same name, different sites
Where a customer name repeats — a letting agent with a dozen properties — the address and postcode show alongside so you pick the right one.
Web and Android
One account and one set of data across the website and the Android app. Quote on site, finish up on the laptop.
Password reset and change
Reset by email if you're locked out, change it from Settings whenever you want.
Delete your account yourself
From Settings, confirmed with your password. Your data and any subscription go with it — no email required, no waiting.
Cancel any time
Manage or cancel your subscription from Settings. Your plan runs to the end of the period you've paid for.
Not yet — what we're still building
These are not available today and aren't included in any plan. They're listed so you can see where the software is going, not as things you're buying.
iPhone app
The Android app is available now. An iPhone version is in progress — until it arrives, the website works fully in Safari on an iPhone.
Team access
Today an account is one login. Multiple users, accountant access and an API are planned for a team plan above Starter.
Questions
Is anything on this list held back on the free plan?
No. Every feature above works on the free plan — the only limit is five invoices in total, and a small branding line on free invoices after the first.
Can I try it before paying?
That's what the free plan is for. It isn't a trial with a countdown: five invoices is the limit, so an account you use occasionally can last years. No card is asked for.
Does it do bookkeeping or file my tax returns?
No. It creates and manages quotes, invoices and payments. It is not HMRC-recognised software and doesn't submit VAT returns or Making Tax Digital updates — export to CSV or JSON for whoever handles your filing.
What happens to my data if I stop paying?
Nothing is deleted. You drop back to the free plan, everything you've created stays available and exportable, and you simply can't issue new invoices beyond the free limit until you upgrade again.
